Genuine question to anybody who considers themselves an FPL Expert/Pundit/Nerd/Addict/Bellend
Would you favour rolling a transfer over upgrading a bench that will almost certainly be needed this weekend?

I would upgrade the bench all day long.
In this case the bench isn’t just for now it’s for Christmas. 👍
I have 3 players in that game. And Gabriel a doubt.
So I might be struggling to get 11 out, and only 1FT
Might be different if you have 3 fodders who are terrible or maybe not even playing 😅

I could have 15 starters
And I could easily have 8
I rate Pickford, Salah, De Ligt, Hall, Gabriel, Rogers and Welbeck as doubts
I think I'd probably roll tbh. My approach this year has been mainly using my transfers to switch between big hitters to attack fixtures.
Just looked at your squad and it looks like you have enough cover.
FWIW the problem isn't your bench🤷🏽♂️
On the plus side
Double spurs has been a horror show
I think using transfers this time of year is important and if you have no other fires using one your bench is not a bad move rn especially if a player you could through in a couple good fixtures even if everyone else plays
I think playing bench - preferably (crap) starters - is fine if they get 1 or 2.
If 8th attacker is total shit then rectify them
The 5 free transfer crew...
I’m definitely a nerd and arguably a bellend.
I think bench is really important over this busy spell
What’s the point in having the bench if you can’t ever rely on it, shape yourself up for what could be an interchangeable couple of weeks and then sit back, hope injuries don’t plague you and let the FT’s start stacking up.
All the best 👍
