again it's not that the US taught Europe how to be racist, just that our policies and attitudes provided useful models and ideological cover. Hitler wrote approvingly of native american extermination and had legal scholars to emulate Jim Crow. that's what I would say the Nazi movement was a "fan" of

I think it is something that comes through the matter of something to emulate based off seeing the overall success of the United States as the emerging power, combined with the matter of cultural aspects.
