Like it's hard to overstate how gay the US military already was, even before the DADT repeal. If anything, I think allowing gay people to serve openly tamed it down a bit. Letting people be openly gay somehow made the vibes less gay overall.

There was a good 8 months in my barracks where when you took a urinal next to another guy you’d look over and say, “Nice dick” in a smooth voice.

We watched the movie a lot in college. When it got to the volleyball scene 3 of us would get beers and our 4th roommate stayed and would exclaim ‘god I love this movie’. Um yeah the jets are cool but why do you always say it at this scene? But he was definitely not gay, just ask him.

Oh man you should have seen how uncomfortable everyone was in law school when I started explaining the *massive amounts of man-on-man naked action* in the infantry. (It came up in context, we were talking about how workplace norms do or don’t change sexual harassment)
