When I got into CtC as a teen I was absolutely blown away by the guests they got. This was a goofy-ass talk show reusing old animation cells, that was getting the same guests as the big talk shows.

I think one of the best parts about the interviews was that they actually interviewed the guests in person, asking normal interview like questions. Then they went with the stuff they got and just went ham for the episode.

It was such a fantastic way to do a show like this, and felt weirdly natural.

It's very funny as an adult now to realize I was unknowingly exposed to musicians I now adore like Pavement, Sonic Youth, Jonathan Richman and more when watching this as a 7 year-old. Like some kind of time-delayed musical osmosis happened where, as a teen, it dawned on me I love all these acts.

I grew up with SG:C2C, it was one of those shows me and my aunt absolutely loved to watch together and helped us make some amazing memories together while I was dealing with a lot of things.

He will be missed, but at least he wasn't a 10 Piece Chicken McNobody.
