Many people - some of them on this website - have bemoaned how expensive an FT subscription is, ignoring the fact you can simply buy the finest Weekend paper for £5 a week.
HOWEVER we have listened! And FT Edit - an app which costs £5 A MONTH with 8 new reads a day - will include Jay's reviews!

As it says you can carry on reading my restaurant reviews for £4.99 a month courtesy of FT edit: 8 of the FT’s best pieces, 6 days a week. And on Saturdays my review will always be one of them. Get more info here tinyurl.com/kp26jjuz or just register here tinyurl.com/5xyprswt

Too many companies put barriers in the way of cancellations.
@financialtimes.com is probably far from the worst in this respect.
But you can cancel your digital only subscriptions with a cancellation button in your account settings https://help.ft.com/faq/changing-your-subscription/how-do-i-cancel-my-subscription/
I have given up with Prospect, LRB, and FT subscriptions - too much faff.
But I buy individual editions at the Spar.
No contact details required, no mother's day advertorial in your inbox, no daily "breaking" notifications on your screen.

I buy the W/e FT occasionally here in Nice but same problem in the truncated International edition.
Yes, sorry, sub is still too dear
I buy Weekend FT every time I’m home and can safely say I read 80% of it, even Money. Visitors bring out Life and Arts or the mag.
International edition has a decent selection but can’t match breadth of the full paper, eg, articles are puffed on Bsky that aren’t in it
I don’t have copies to hand to say more
Still time for FT to reconsider the new hire 😉
But will you choose the ones I can read in my sub? Or can I read up to n articles a week? 🤔
I also wish it was available on Press Reader through the library.
