Public space is reserved for the public, whether or not they own a private vehicle.
"yes we will always need some driving, but this town is walkable and as you can see, many people like walking in it; let's support that"
Bring on Proportional Representation to get more of these voices calling for better public transport and community
That said, it drives me nuts that we have a) 1000s of empty homes in our town (officially, I'm not making it up); &
b) SO many buildings that can be retrofit to be homes or house people,..so why destroy greenfield?
