My recollection of long ago reading a bunch mythologies* is that, as a general theme, you don't _want_ to get a personal message from an ancient deity. It often goes very badly!

*I don't remember reading much Egyptian mythology; it's possibly their deities are uncommonly nice, or that Bastet is.

There are people out there who worship/work with deities such as Bastet, Loki, Aphrodite etc. but I’ve never heard of them SELLING messages on their behalf. Or one working with so many different deities (at least not any that are taken seriously).

Most deity workers would be appalled, I’d think.
