Wolves were reintroduced in Yellowstone Park. They hunt deer who used to stay near the river. Deer left only to come drink. Plants start to grow bigger, more flowers and red fruits. Bees settle and bears followed the honey and the fruits. More small trees attracted castor's who build dams.
Where I live, deer have become a problem. The only predators they have are vehicles and hunters. They do millions of dollars of damage to crops, yards, gardens, and vehicles. They cause injuries and even deaths when they collide with cars. Predators are needed to keep the balance.
Until I moved to the country I would have cocked my head at the use of "predator" to describe vehicles. Then was told that some locals reinforce their grills and will go out of their way to hit deer on the road; free meat.
I was simply adding onto what you said, providing information that some people might not have known. Actively swerving to hit a deer you see on the road, or even just reinforcing your grill so your car hopefully incurs less damage should an accident occur, supports what you said, not argues.
Wolves are essential to the balance of nature. These magnificent creatures are a symbol of strength and resilience, their very presence protecting entire ecosystems. They remind us that the wild, untamed forces of nature must be respected—without them, our world would be incomplete.
Of course people would notice and care if you weren't around. But eight billion humans is a lot compared to the handful of wild animals remaining. So just from an ecological perspective, they're more important.
I watched a documentary recently about the yelllowstone wolves, super beautiful creatures! I hope other programs like this can help bring balance to the rest of our planet someday.
They plan on shooting the bears too in the same 20,000 acre area to leave more caribou for hunters. It’s all about money and private hunt clubs well funded by GOP POSs.

I watched a great documentary a month ago on the changes for the better when wolves were reintroduced in a state where they had virtually disappeared.
Not only other animals, but even the flora reverted to its original natural balance.
Wish I could find that youtube video again. It was awesome.
