If Pro Publica needs another endorsement, Facebook prevented me from posting a link to a PP article TWICE today. Said it was “pending,” but I know from being an admin in a different group that what it actually means is that FB has flagged it as “potential spam” and sent it to purgatory.

I did that yesterday, even though I’ve been furious with both NYT and WashPo for awhile. I hadn’t stopped because there are a lot of good journalists & I was afraid of employee cutbacks. But none of us need news slanted by billionaires who acquiesced to MAGA. Independent news is the way to go.

I cancelled my WaPo last year and redirected that money to a recurring ProPublica donation. I think it might be the only bill I've ever had that I feel GREAT about when I get the email saying it's been paid every month.
