If you wanted to save the MCU, the obvious solution imo would be to deliver a grounded, self-contained Daredevil story. It’d feel like a breath of fresh air after years of increasingly weightless, perfunctory movies. Thankfully they’re going all-in on RDJ nostalgia with Dr. Doom instead.

But I do want more Daredevil.
Kang should have followed Pfeiffer's character out into our world...and it should've happened on Halloween.
only to have him be defeated by the B and C teams.
that makes even less sense than having a sociopath destroy the Infinity Gauntlet…
Not every movie or show has to be 60% backstory and 40% save the world while giving the fanboys 100% fulfillment.
Daredevil is coming back in about a month and the marketing at least makes it look like it's keeping the same tone.
I want the bad ones to fail. (Maybe they should all fail.)
When Spielberg and Scorsese have difficulties funding films, we're in trouble
I did enjoy the character building, but sometimes you need a lean story, get in and get out quickly
God, why are the Fantastic Four so cursed when adaptations are involved?
they also retired Captain America,
killed off Black Widow,
and permanently ruined the Hulk,
all in the same damned movie.
was I supposed to keep watching for Brie Larson?
No one would remember him from the first Dr Strange anyway, short hair, cool dueling scar, crisp suit, bam...Victor von Doom.
And the MCU fucked up by going nowhere but bigger and more cosmic. Street hero stories with emotional stakes would've been cooler.
I don't know, sounds like a topical story, especially lately
