Monty above has it, though it's pretty dependent on the paint too Acrylics especially as you're often using multiple coats and layers so having a black base helps your next layer stay dark in the recesses. I usually base black for red/green/purple especially to ok cloth, and browns for fur
It can, but you might want that, and how much it does mute the colors depends on what you put over that base.
If you look up Night Shift on YouTube he pretty much always uses black primer for his model tanks.
you can pick up dollar bin action figures and paint them up, or get items around the house and glue them together and paint them up. each small victory of success will inspire you to move up to larger and more complicated projects. I promise! :D
Never know until you try it! You could even start with like, a pre-colored Bandai kit and do basic panel lining and stuff like that. Or model cars, those don't need complex weathering or anything.
One of the great films I just can’t forget from childhood, but why are you using the Bandai spirits nippers? Treat yourself to a better one, gotta be tamiya ones…
It's the workbench of someone who's found the tools they like using and will keep using them. Never could figure out the people who'd stick to just one brand of paint or brush: there's so many options! Eat the buffet don't just snack the appetizers!
In Spanish, I don't know. But
In Brazilian Portuguese we say Consolo, It means something like "consolation".
I'm not joking, I think it's almost poetic ahahahah
I'd have loved such a model back in my model making days in the 60s and 70s, did it exist then? I have got the reproductions of the cards I had back then. Odd though watching the film, I'd never thought of it as a comedy.

Ack!?! Ack?!?
Tamiya, Citadel, Vallejo. Xacto knives, Gorilla Glue, emery boards. All just in a bunch of plastic cups.
It's the kit gathered by a modeller over years, rather than the set-up of someone who has just thrown money at it.
Brushes stand, their bristles tight,
Waiting hands to bring them light.
Figures rest in ghostly white,
Soon to glow with hues so bright.
Paint and tools in scattered grace,
A world is born in this small space.
With every stroke, with every hue,
A story forms, both old and new.

thanks too for showing a cluttered workspace with 9000 brushes in jars, I feel validated :)
I bet you make voices and remember scenes while you paint it.
You can tell us...
