Unusual appearance of a T2000 double on lines 2 and 13. And very usual appearance of high fog in Schlieren at the far end of line 2.

My favourite part along the new Limmattalbahn light rail line (also used by tram 2) is this area here with it's insane contrasts between post-war suburban housing and absurdly out of scale recent office buildings.

The sun returned for some late afternoon photos. At the opposite end of the network, in the far north-east, this line 9 service is heading away from Wallisellen's "Glatt" shopping mall on a road side green track, built for the late 1980s network extension to Schwamendingen garden city.

As so often, the sun didn't set behind Mount Uetliberg, but into some clouds above. Short stop for a photo in the last faint sunlight of the day in the centre of Oberstrass, one of Zurich's former villages which were swallowed up by the expanding city in the late 1800s.

Freezing cold winter evening down at the lake as I wait for my tram home. For many of the T2000 trams, 2025 will be the last year - only a few will remain longer. So expect more photo posts in the next few months. Or mute #D2000 (maybe I'll find a better hashtag sometimes), if you're not interested.

High floor T2000 are still common sight on lines 5 (Mon-Sat), 9 and 15. The partly low floor «Sänfte» work line 2 and 7 services as well. Irregular appearance on other lines, look out for departures without wheelchair symbol on the dot matrix indicators. Or ask me, I try to keep track these days.

I have never seen Sänfte-Pony sets on other lines than 7 (but 2 may theoretically work too). Tram 2000 35 m trains are on lines 5 and 9 (because of limited length of certain stops), but they may be seen on other lines as well. Tram 2000 solo or Sänfte are lines 15 and 8.

A bit of a side question: I know that yellow lines are normally used to mark reserved bus/tram lanes in Switzerland, but what is the difference between continuous and dashed ones like here in the pic?

Dashed ones can be crossed for getting to side streets on the other side afaik

Exactly. Continuous = must not cross. See Art. 74b of Signalisationsverordnung.
