Oof, this needs a thread. Moin argues that (contra bluskey critics) we shouldn't hold back on criticizing the state of science because no matter what we say it'll be weaponized.

Believe one thing is clear, though, that if you’re going to be a critic you need to need to hold self to a very high standard, and that’s not always there.
