Neither Israel nor the USA are under the ICC precisely for this reason. The difference is the Philippines *was* and Duterte removed us from it during his term. So the crimes that happened before he removed it are still under ICC jurisdiction even if the Philippines no longer is

Huh. I knew about the US/Israel constantly sparring with the ICC, despite not being under its jurisdiction.

Because if that, I’m actually kinda surprised Duterte would only be charged for the crimes he committed before withdrawing.
