I wanna get to 45k+ follows simply to have Bsky be my biggest social media ever and stick it to the people who told me βyouβll be back loserβ when I left TwiX in May 2023. Yes I am petty. Thank you so much for following me. π

OK on one hand TwiX is an adorable name and a perfect way to incorporate the X. On the other hand I am also petty and that place deserves to be called Xwitter
I barely broke 2k followed over there and still havenβt hit that on Insta. Only started using both regularly after 2015, probably a little too late. Hoping to build some momentum here.
Yeah, definitely a quality community that is willing to support you is worth so much more than a giant one that doesn't really care. I am fortunate bsky seems to be many good people following tho π§‘
@kimhu.bsky.social I can't leave completely because I need to use it from time to time for data moderation purposes on another website, but it's easier to leave completely knowing friends started to leave as well. I just wished everyone did that when the fire was smaller...
In terms of engagement, definitely! But sadly for clients etc the raw numbers game is important, so I at least have to keep a little bit of track on it.
ugh, i hate how it boils down to the freakin raw numbers for all of you.
wish you all the good luck and that clients realize there's more sources than that corpse of a former platform.
oh the desire to say "I TOLD YOU SO!!" to ppl who kept saying bsky is dead and has no future and that we're stuck with twitter (π). or that switching to bsky is economic suicide...

You will get there!
Stick it to 'em! Sideways, if you e gotta!
Why do twitter users think that site is somehow sacred? Is it really just their first exposure to being extremely online?
cleanse the old number of bots and algorithm forcefed accounts, etc.
it's like 9 dog years on Twitter are like one year here if you get my drift.
wish you all the good luck and that clients realize there's more sources than that corpse of a former platform.
