Living here all my life, can confirm. Just last month, driving to our gym, my wife and I watched as a bald eagle flew away carrying what was probably a squirrel in its talons.

Portlander here; the osprey situation here is NUTS. We speak in broken sentences simply to conserve oxygen while we dead-sprint from cover to cover just to survive downtown, where squadrons of osprey hunt using pack tactics. And the rent!
