I have to be honest here, I thought it was terrible. No characterisation and Mcguffins and Deus Ex Machinas everywhere. I know there are neanderthals everywhere who hate on modern trek because they are bigots but honestly it was rubbish. Kurtzman is destroying Trek

I thought it was entertaining enough but you can 100% tell it was supposed to be a show that they compressed down into a movie.
