Once again think there’s an argument for second yellow cards to be looked at by VAR - a red card changes the game. There’s no way Baleba should have been sent off for Brighton.

What if the 1st yellow was wrong? What if a player deserved a 2nd yellow, but the ref didn't show him one? Once you go down this route, you have to check every foul.
Agreed. Don't see why VAR can't just tell the ref to have another look because it's a questionable foul at best. Then again, VAR seemingly took forever to call a clear as day offside so I'm not sure I'd have faith in them either way 😅
I guess if you are on a yellow card which shouldn’t have been given then you are on high alert not to get another one. So VAR would stop you getting another unfair one.
Dan burn missing the game tomorrow for bringing down a player after the ref didn't think Yates elbow was even a foul on livramento. Where would it end?
It becomes an unnecessary talking point for something so innocuous.
And while we're at it, the "unwritten rule" some referees have by having an even higher threshold for a second yellow - that's frustrating too! Extremes of inconsistency.
If you down that route are we gonna start looking at corners? Cos they can lead to goals that change games? Or free kicks? Or throw ins? Why don’t we just get some better refs, wouldn’t that be a better idea?
Looked at it a few times and not even sure its a foul, never mind a yellow card. Then you have Ndidi getting away with that challenge on Palmer and VAR not deeming it worthy of a second look from the ref. All still as inconsistent as ever.
