I don't agree. After this many school shootings and tons of high profile murders, we still don't have any movement on this issue. I also believe, had anyone been gunned down in broad daylight in NY the way BT was, it would have been just a big an issue in the media.

Most states require background checks prior to purchasing a firearm. Many require them to be registered with the state.
The Madison shooter had a handgun, which is not banned anywhere, nor should it be.
Child access prevention laws (hold parents accountable), red flag laws, waiting periods, roll back "constitutional carry" and require safety/qualification to carry concealed, and while not applicable here we need regulations on assault rifles.

Their corporate structure seems to be a coequal board of directors and CEO, so I would assume the CEO would negotiate with the board on a salary. The board's interest would be minimizing CEO salary to increase company profit.
It will take a member of congress to lose his/her child in a school shooting before they even think of common-sense gun control. The majority of school shooting happen in Red States where they put guns before life. I only feel sorrow for the 2-year-old who called police to report the shooting!
