When I ran cross country they used to tell us that as you get in shape you actually sweat more easily. Definitely seemed true to me at the time. I just think it's funny since people often associate excessive sweating with being in poor health and that was the best shape I've ever been in.
That bit of vernacular might have migrated somewhat since its inception, but I think it's so unreasonably effective (or is most effective) when applied to something which ought *never* cause sweating.
Like tunneling a low stakes element of a game, or escalating a convo which could/should be casual.
