The stock has a P/E ration near 200. So they are "pricing in" something like ten times growth over and above the average firm.

Model 3s and Ys are cheap by EV standards. They are eligible for the full $7,500 tax credit, which gives them an edge over many other cars both on sale and lease pricing. They are also incredibly cheap used because the rental car companies flooded the market with near-new Model 3s.

My neighbor got one for under $30k with only 20k miles on it. Even at full price, due to it being one of the few cars eligible for the full tax credit a Model 3 is one of the cheapest per mile of range. That’s ignoring the quality issues with the car, but a lot of people only look at price + range.

Buy a used Chevy Bolt. Great value, solid car. There is nothing in the interior styling of a Model 3 that seems cool or desirable. A Kia EV3 is much more stylish on the interior if that's a thing that matters to you.

This is beautiful news! I’m lucky enough to have a job that comes with a company vehicle, recently our org has moved to an all EV fleet. When it was time to order, Tesla was one option…I’m proud to say I turned down a free Tesla…no chance I’ll drive a Swasticar
