Incredible thing about that graphic is, this is the new, improved version.
As the post says, older Teslas had no visible way that a passenger could start removing a door panel (if they somehow knew to do that); once they did, there was no indication which wire to pull (if they knew to pull one).
No, this is a newer version. In the version you posted the passenger is supposed to somehow remove the speaker grille and then find an unmarked wire; in the new improved version there is a (poorly indicated) way provided for the passenger to open up the door's innards, and the wire is marked.
Ugh, I don't like this trend. At least the manual door releases are marked with an icon and you don't have to start pulling apart the trim to get to them, although that's an extremely low bar.
I seem to be pretty lucky- I probably use rideshare 5-10x a year, and I’ve never had to cancel yet, because I have never been assigned one of those shitboxes.

Or take a cab. There are certainly issues with taxi companies and the way cities would grant licenses, but tech bros destroying everything wasn't the answer.

It sucks and should be illegal: "The normal means of exit should work when the car is unpowered"
Early Tesla models had no usable manual releases at all, and even the more recent models only have manual releases in the front seats.
EG, Corvette:
Still much better than the back seats of Teslas, still Not Good.
Tesla = cancel immediately
