Before I purchased my induction stove, my HVAC air source heat pump, & my hybrid heat pump water heater, folks said they would be too loud. In all 3 cases they are quieter than the appliance they replaced. Donβt fall for misinformation. Vested interests want you to stay on fossil fuels. π§ͺπ‘βοΈπ¨π

The only trick with the heat pump retrofit was running condensation water out, and 220 electricity in.
But I β€οΈ how the boiler goes on to heat the π in the AM. Then the hot water heater grabs the ambient boiler room heat as we shower. π

And our old car was definitely much louder than our EV. It's one of the best things about EVs, way underappreciated. Every time I'm in or near an ICE now I wonder what's wrong with it, why does it sound like it's exploding?
The touch slide is not practical for precision.
Our hybrid heat pump doesn't seem to be an issue.
