I feel like most of the people saying these things are not aware that any prior infection with SARS-Covid-19 is considered a pre-existing condition on the majority of risk assessment tables. If you've had Covid, you have a pre-existing condition.

We are not playing the "health is morality" game anymore. We should never have played it to begin with. The whole idea that if you have a pre-existing condition you have somehow earned severe illness and waved your right to compassion was pushed during lockdowns to make people spend again.

Some things listed as "pre-existing conditions" have no relation to potential mortality. Multiple studies were done showing that weight is a pre-existing condition for Covid only in that heavier people received worse care and thus had worse outcomes.

Truly. Ableism is baffling because we are all going to become disabled some day. All of us. If we live long enough or get unlucky through accident or illness. And hell. Asthma is more common now due to pollution. I wanna scream and shake them: It WILL BE YOU SOMEDAY.
