I'm privileged now. But lived in public school residences where Dad was a teacher for 40+ years (didn't have an indoor dunny until I left home at 17)

Get involved in your local public school - great teachers. My husband established a garden,coached the footy team. I hosted trivia nights. Wonderful community connections. V.proud public here!
