It's kind of a shame because a movie looking at the ugly sexual politics of social media and how teens in particular are commoditized and used to hook creeps on the platform would speak to the moment. I thought this was about Crash (2004) for a minute and was just thinking it'd be cruel to subject them to watching such a boring, godawful piece of shit. But yeah, the 1996 Crash... meh. It tried too hard imo. It was shocking even at the time only to anyone not hanging out on the internet.
