Are there similar legal/organizational hurdles to uhh.. speaking these nasty bits into a microphone vs. putting them in print? Even through a non-football (banking) lens I saw how the UA system put the screws to the local control of UAB. Forced them to relinquish anything that wasn’t nailed down

I must misunderstand. Are you saying you have gossipy bits that are single-sourced or second-hand and you can’t share those ever. or can it ethically be reported with disclosure of assumed agenda/axe-to-grind? (seems like the standards don’t even come that high at places like NYT & WaPo these days)

Since the first time I saw a free UAB bumper sticker in a parking garage on campus. Was totally perplexed at first but now I always side eye Tuscaloosa when decisions are made around UAB.
