Serious question: What is it going to take to get the press to ask Donald Trump the questions of fitness and cognitive capacity that they’re asking Biden at every opportunity?

Biden replaced … for good or ill, we’re at that point…unfortunately, I think Biden believes he’s indispensable & irreplaceable (a world historical figure destined to save the country). He’s been a good president, but no one is indispensable. VP Harris can do this!
To get fair press coverage, Biden would have to give billionaires huge tax breaks, gut worker’s rights, and outlaw unions. Until then, the press (specifically their billionaire owners) profit by keeping Republicans in office. Fairness and integrity have nothing to do with the modern press.
Before the debate happened, I watched a commentator on MSNBC last week hand wave away weeks of Trump comments about electrocuted sharks and Hannibal Lector. “That’s not cognitive decline; Trump’s always said weird stuff.” That man (and Republicans in general) has always been graded on a curve.
I've seen it said on here, the way is through. Get the message to the voters. Volunteer to canvas, phone bank, text bank, write postcards, drive people to the polls.
Many of the people concerned about Biden's health are the same people who have been distressed about Trump's broken brain for almost 10 years. It is in ALL of our best interest to have a sharp, responsive president who can better deal with "jet lag".
The billions of $$ in PR contracts they got from the fossil fuels industry,Thiel and Leo in order for them to deregulate everything ..
Which SCOTUS already did. If they can wine and dine Justices, imagine what they do to editors in chief...
There are a LOT of David Peckers &Hope Hickses out there.
They just assume "we" all know that Trump is unfit for all the reasons that are visible if you're paying attention. Or if they ask, he'll lie and they'll move on.

In Biden's case, his condition actually makes a difference to the outcome, as Dems are capable—if not (yet) willing—to have a vote of no confidence.
Would they finally get around to asking why he disrespected a 4-star general last week, or would this only be new things he says going forwards?
