If Yoon is impeached and LJM becomes president, it will likely be a begrudging choice by the public with no other real alternative. If that is the case, then there will be no honeymoon period for Lee. He will be up against the wall from the start.

However, a poll taken yesterday shows that LJM is supported by 52.4% of Koreans in a still hypothetical early election after Yoon is removed. So quite a shift. And this is why the PPP is dragging its feet. An election will see them lose power. End
