One of the only people I've seen successfully toe the likeable asshole line longterm. His takes are usually pretty great, sometimes uninformed, but I almost always hear some sort of caveat, acknowledgement, from him on that.

He's long seemed pretty cool and down to earth. He's not perfect (nobody is) but he seems to at least be aware of his own weaknesses, cares about other people, tries to think for himself, etc. Puts him ahead of most.
