In the 70’s and 80’s companies started to offshore jobs. Wages lower. Profits higher. Tariffs won’t reverse that. Tax incentives might. But it will take years to bring all those jobs back to the US. CEOs and CFOs might need to give up their 10th home and 5th yacht to pay Americans a decent wage.
