Friday tradition: ending the week with some shared joy no matter how rough the week.
Tell me something good.
What good thing happened in your life this week?
Aced a project or ate like a king or queen, either works. Just something good.

Chemo give you nausea not radiation
I had 33 treatments of radiation and 7 of chemotherapy
It get worse before it gets better towards the end and the 2-4 weeks after treatment is complete.
It’s rough I lost 53 pounds from 196 pounds
No sign in lymph nodes so onto more chemo in a month or so to increase my chances of longer term survival.
So grateful to have a great medical team.
I'm happy you're a Survivor. 💪💜
and about the medical staff that will take care of you
But rest assured that these people are angels and they will treat you well and with kindness and compassion.
And the most important thing surrounded by family
Thanks for sharing
That's fantastic news. 💜
Also, I just got on the scale...I've now lost 55# since May 27.
to quote robin williams in "dead poets society": these are the things we stay alive for.
Nothing bad has happened and I'm grateful!
That might mean nothing to many, but it's an hour drive to get there and since I am retired and work a gig from home I rarely leave the house. I raise chickens. It meant a lot to me to go there! We bought a ton of stuff for a new chicken coop!
my art supplies and my husband actually told me he appreciated all my daily hard work.
Started painting again too.
It was peacefully non-political.
tickets to see John Fogerty in Las Vegas in a couple months... something nice to look forward to.
our yearly holiday buffet after a showing of the years training . Good food and great fellowship.
Whoot whoot!!
2) I presented a year in review to my c-suite about my work and could tell it was well-received. after, my boss told me "You were GREAT!! they loved you, of course!"
It turns out we still love each other and are able to find common ground.
I had an old-ish Rad Power for several months (with throttle, no speeds). It was stolen. I miss it a lot.
Before that I rented a 3-speed from Active SGV, a step through commuter.
Pretty happy with it!

Good people make all the difference.
All is good now and I feel exponentially better!
Seriously.
(Things don’t always go well.)
(Just chatted with a young widow. A year ago I was dressing her brilliant double PhD husband of only 42 years to be cremated. Sometimes life throws curveballs a bit too hard.)
