An important point and yet another indication of how incredibly uncurious the current millennial generation of political reporters is about anything that happened before them. You simply cannot be an effective political reporter if you have no interest in or knowledge of history.

And for most reporters just realizing this is an epic fail.
It seems like a weird thing to say, but there must be some level of truth to it. Like we pick up too much wrong info combined with finding it less interesting.
Journalism today has no interest in anything beyond how much their headlines get forwarded.
