Just used the "Sky Follower Bridge" extension for Chrome to import my X/Twitter follows into Bluesky. Worked like a charm. Highly recommended.

In cae you're worried, you must click Follow on each user it finds (there's no Follow All button) so it's a good chance to review them.

For me what really bulked up my follow list was participating in art shares and following every artists whose work I like. And when I have a pleasant exchange with someone in the replies, I follow them too.

I had this issue at first. Had to spend some time actively looking for people. Eventually I found a few dozen I followed before and added some new people.

Recently I had the start muting some accounts after BS opened to all. There feels like there are a LOT of people now.

I enjoyed bluesky initially b/c there was less political partisan BS I'd fall prey to. Now it's 'open' I'd say the quality of Discover Feeds has diminished, for my preferences.
Lots of anime. Lots of politics. I might have to start doing some curating.
