America's greatest force multiplier and global strength has been its network of allies. Popular lore now sees them as a burden. So America is killing its alliances. The Trump-Musk-Vance administration's moves are an act of epic self-harm.

EU should invest in EU tech industry as its clear US companies is a part of the assault and should be knee capped in the EU.Opp to invest in EU defense industry and invite Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, Ukraine etc into the mix. Build new alliances.
Nope, not even close. We had a referendum, leave won & the mandate was set. No armageddon, no societal breakdown, no mass unemployment, no uber inflation, the market's weren't much bothered etc etc. Obvs some weren't happy but life does & has gone on. We're not in the EU but we'll always be European
Well you can drive on a slow puncture for quite a while till you need a new tyre, no. Let's face it there wasn't much serious governing going on in the last 5 years with the Tories, Boris set the decline in motion, Truss made it worse exponentially & Sunak cut & ran before the crap hit
Everybody always can see the dumb when it comes to others, but rarely when looking at themselves. It takes a kind of honesty that is often in short supply amongst the anonymous know it alls of the social media world.
Yes. Brexit is both a process & an event. The "event" part has been (badly)done while the process part continues to inflict its damage mostly in lost opportunities.
2). Then came Nancy Pelosi leading the LINOS (liberals in name only) and the entire House in a rapturous standing ovation for torture kingpin Dick Cheney.
Then came the absolute inability of the US to reduce collateral damage in the Gaza exccursion.
But we need to clean house of the depraved moral rot which permeates our power centers.
A legitimate first start is to make all medical schools here free of charge and begin to create a whopping surplus of physician for the home and for abroad.
4. We would pay for the trivial 6 billion bucks or so to make all medical school free and to forgive all medical school debt by modest cuts in the defense budget. We are spending exponentially more on defense than before, but are far less secure.
5). If we flood the zone, with US doctors working for free, it will increase our national security palpably and be a rational first step to restore our moral credibility.
Quite frankly, I don't care what subset of the despised unwashed we are discussing overseas......
6). those who are the flotsam and jetsam of neoliberalism, those families have a demonstrable preference to have their bright-eyed toddlers healed for free than to have them blown to pieces by our 2000 pound bonds. This is demonstrably true.
on the international economy ... we (Europeans) may choose to #DumpUSA but it'll take quite a while for them to notice - America already 'consumes its own', while swallowing a lot of imports.
though pointed #BoycottUSA on 28 Feb wouldn't go amiss.
So much coming at us that it's hard to understand and keep track of. This morning, I came across this discussion with Heather Cox Richardson that breaks it down, offering suggestions to move forward. Please pass it on to wherever your republican friends and family reside. https://youtu.be/f-78R0monV4?feature=shared

They do not care about America.
Starmer's approach seems smart: say yes to the AI stuff (sorta) & no effin way to that (Ukraine status).
There must be some lucrative angle for them somewhere in this treason.
Occident is in danger with fearsome consequences.
Military spending everywhere is going up.

But they’re sleeping.
Thanks for keeping it real & lucid, Mr. Luce.
(Yes, I went there. It's Sunday.)
Then came 2003 Iraqi invasion on false pretenses, courtesy of CNN, Fox,, the NYT, and Dick Cheney.
Then came the absolute inability of the US to reduce collateral damage in the Gaza exccursion.
Our moral credibility has been obliterated.
