The evidence would seem to indicate a link between fascism and a willingness to ignore the law when it does not work how you want. Much of the current US administration would pose fine examples of this. Many also in Congress and Senate.

We don't allow people to run in elections purely on the basis of 'you're too poor to afford to take years off work and also burn through millions of dollars to become a known name'. I think it's okay to draw a line if someone rich manages to crime hard enough to actually catch a charge.
