It's not crazy at all. That's what it's there for: to catalogue and preserve important documents. The internet itself is not an archive; what it is available changes over time. The Internet Archive was always important; now it's crucial. Check it out. It's a non profit.
I’m mad because I’ve been asking about people archiving these sites for weeks and radio silence. It’s too much for one person to do. Plus the datasets, my gosh, there’s soo many sooo valuable. 😩
