We need retention and increased recruitment of GPs in primary care and concurrently an investment in social care of this country. Do that then I can do my job. Perhaps then we can give patients the care they deserve and need!

In part of Devon almost 50% of ED minor atts were there cos they were self employed or zero hours.

Inflexibility of use of access monies doesn’t help. In tourist areas mornings , evenings & weekends is when hospitality workers are more likely to be working. So supporting access in “core” hours would be more beneficial if flexibility allowed

5 or more times a year…as I recall primary care is currently funded on an assumption of 3 visits a year. Contract needs reform for an era of ever younger multimorbidity. And huge MH/Social care investment needed
