When a team of doctors, scientists and engineers at Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the University of Cambridge placed an air filtration machine in COVID-19 wards, they found that it removed almost all traces of airborne SARS-CoV-2.

This should have been required by law. If needed, governments could help with loans or grants. This would likely have stopped COVID dead in its tracks.

I still don’t understand why air filtration systems are not utilized in healthcare environments, medical and dental. Seems like a simple way to help keep airborne diseases under control.

I don’t know what the figures are now but it seemed compelling to me that after the first year of Covid the UK stood at some 360,000 deaths (and that with the 28-day figure fudging) while Japan, similar population numbers but taking #AirHygiene seriously, had lost 36,000 or thereabouts. Per million👇

Really? You should read comments from Clinically Vulnerable people whose experience of health care settings is generally dire and who will often go for help only when it’s completely unavoidable. I worry that if measures are not implemented soon the impetus will evaporate.

Sadly that research was published in late 2021. So why has this knowledge not been acted on & HEPA filters not implemented in hosps,schools & indeed all public buildings when we know that COVID continues to maim & kill?
There've already been>400 C19 deaths across the UK in the first 3 weeks of 2026.
