Kraven's Last Hunt is, IMO, a work of genius... and like most other works of genius, it's fascinating to hear how much happenstance (or destiny in the guise thereof) nudged it around before it came fully into being.

I remember that year, as my friends and I bought every issue religiously. One friend was really great at replicating the artwork. It (among other things) inspired me to make my own comics. And I'm still at it. Thank you for that.
