Plus, Tesla's network is already becoming the standard bc other co's are adopting the same plug... also, then means an ongoing stream of revenue for Tesla

I'm a bit out of my depth here but I thought Teslas could use these chargers as well, and that the Tesla charger was becoming the standard across the industry.

Yeah, I guess I’m thinking more along the lines of having a corner on the charger market and the leverage that gives you down the road vs other electric car companies.

But, that aside, I think this is likely more about slashing and burning costs/services/infrastructure (and, apart from Elon, a general dislike of anything “green”).
