I met with a personal trainer this week and am starting training on Thursday!

My sister and I do this thing since we were kids where I say “You know how ___” and I describe some common relatable thing like how your nose gets itchy in public but you don’t want to scratch it so people think you’re picking it, and she deadpan says, “No Harmony, that never happens to me.”

My local girlfriend is starting seeds inside with lights and heat. I’m starting cold stuff in my greenhouse and outside. We’ll get warmer crops going and then up pot into the greenhouse so they can size up before planting out. If it works it will help with yield this year!

It’s almost time!! (I’m seeding some out this weekend if it stops raining for a few minutes.)

No, deep frying is out of my wheelhouse. Besides, it’s a good excuse to support a local business.

I think the camp actually saves it for me; it would be too violent and pro military if it were more realistic. But it somehow works.

This was basically an oi muchim style preparation. I don’t measure any more — just season with vibes. Rice vinegar, garlic, scallion, sesame oil, soy or aminos… add some spicy if you want.

“So what are you up to this weekend?”

Frickin seriously. We just watched it and I had to sob more than a couple of times.

I wrote up my whole experience if you ever want to read it. Although it’s probably as eye roll inducing as you’d expect.

Ayahuasca was a rough ride at the beginning but then it felt like the clouds literally lifted and I was overwhelmed with love and peace and clarity.

It sounds so trite but it was incredible. Life changing.

No, ayahuasca! I’ve never done LSD or mushrooms.
comment in response to

I agree. I had a similar permanent positive effect, though it wasn’t from mushrooms.
comment in response to

Yeah, some people might just be permanently too high on their own supply.
(I did read an article that there’s some evidence it can change hearts and minds, but it may have been somewhat anecdotal)

It’s absurd but also could we spike the entire right wing’s water with it for a minute?

I literally bought a greenhouse mostly so I could grow cilantro year round. I needs it.
comment in response to

Well, right now it’s the middle of winter and this is cilantro in my greenhouse that I started in mid fall. I can’t keep it from bolting past June usually. But last summer I started some basically in the shade. And it’s a slow bolt variety.

Will do!! I’m so excited for them to show their cheery little faces. And I’ve got mad tulips coming, I hope!

Hope is a verb. Planting the seeds builds the garden that bears the fruit.
Not to get too metaphorical, but…
