I don't know what just happened. And maybe it should stay that way?

"Hey kids, Cadbury's Capitalism is fun!" What's today's equivalent of this? Just Eat?

Not experienced Eleanor yet, but Alasdair Beckett-King is one very funny chap.

Eternally rimming, it would seem.

Damn you, Clippy!

That's it. 'Flawless gloss' is probably fine for a corporate keynote presentation, but for anything else, it kills any sense of rhythm or authenticity. There's a fine line: spell and grammar checks as a safety net are a given, they don't remove any intent or soul.

Nothing wrong with the em dash, it just isn't something you commonly see from people who aren't writers... And sort of takes away a certain level of sincerity.

As a type nerd, I love them too, but there's a certain superficial level of 'polish' and 'tone' that ChatGPT adds and it's really noticeable (to me, at least). Whether that's a good/bad thing or not is up for grabs.

I'm more of a Coronation Street man, to be honest. That also has its fair share of doom and gloom, but it also has a knack to make us all laugh out loud or go full on camp on the turn of a dime.

Of course, as UX people, we laugh in the face of ambiguity, so I winged that one, hopefully.

Her skin's been great since she started using all over sun block. I think it's right it's the law.

Hmm, the standout one for me has to be the title sequence for Bad Sisters... a carefully filmed chain reaction of icons used throughout the series. And the series ain't too bad, either!

I’ll give myself some credit. Another 'soft skill' that's valuable in any line of work: - Calling out bullshit without losing one's shit Maybe it’s easier as a contractor, as I don’t feel the 'perceived' pressure of staying silent for an easy life. Transparency really matters to me.

This is like my anti-LinkedIn.

Adding the source anyway, because it made me laugh.

Oh yeah, 100% - zero capacity for it. Silence definitely isn't compliance.

Same. Perhaps I'm showing my age, but there used to be an unwritten rule that *some* topics were best left undiscussed: - Religion - Politics - Wealth In an era where so much discourse happens online, I think that point has proven itself SO many times (based on my experience, at least).

Strange, isn't it? LinkedIn is the last place anyone should be looking for fun, of any type.

It's a ghastly. Full of people inhaling their own farts. Every time I visit (usually just to check a notification that turns out to be yet another ‘go premium’ nag), I have to physically restrain myself from commenting "Oh, will you just fuck off, you sanctimonious cunt?" 500 times.

One moment, I'm just enjoying my anti-Garry gum (TMI, but I had too much Garry gum, yesterday).

It's very blingbling, narrated by Maya Jama, reality TV, ITVBe, Twat Island, isn't it?
