A hint of spring. 🌱

They grow like weeds in my garden, but I do love them. #SnowdropSaturday 🌱

Busy day on the #allotment in the glorious sunshine! Finally completed my mammoth weeding task and dug some trenches to plant potatoes in next month. 🌱

The wind died down, the sun finally appeared and progress was made! #AboutBloodyTime #Allotment 🌱

BloomScrolling 🌱 PrunusPersica I guess I'm a naturalist in the making but I'll never pass any of the classes bc I've no working memory, never have had it! I've well-worn memory which, like learning an 🎸, I have to practice; with luck I'll be good but sometimes, so MUCH more practice needed. ALTTEXT

There was a real sense of spring in the air today. #bees πŸŒ±πŸ’š #greenheart #cotswolds #SignsOfSpring

Look at these purple crocuses that have self seeded everywhere on our gravel drive. Gorgeous! πŸ’œπŸŒ±

🌱 #Gardening #Gardeners One of the varieties of Penstemon that (after several previous unsuccessful attempts) seems (we hope!) now quite well established in some of our most well drained gardens here. It definitely isn’t fond of too much prolonged wet.

Look, rain!! Fantastic, luckily I went out early for photos. 🌿🌱

Hoping a few of the old gardening crowd I use to engage with on Twitter are also on here.

Six pollinators on Maypops, my last for this series, at least until I grow some new native plants. Passiflora incarnata is native to the southeast US and Mexico and is the host plant for Gulf Fritillary butterflies. 1/2 #SixonSaturday #nativeplants 🌱

Can't tell if these are burgundy, purple or hot pink. Time will tell.🌱

come on, Spring! we've been missing you 🌱

It's amazing the difference a single sunny(ish) day can make. A spectrum of irises and crocuses plus some returning violas finally bringing some spring colour to my back garden this lunchtime, for #SixOnSaturday πŸŒ±πŸ“· #bloomscrolling #gardening

In another world, I would look at craft, gardening, and cooking posts all day. I want that world to happen. 🌱 #embroidery #cooking #knitting

How perfect is this leaf though? Also, my Monstera is sprouting a new leaf right at its base, among the very first old and dusty leaves of its forefathers 🌱 I've never seen it do this before

It’s the little things. 🌱

Our house is right beside a pineapple field. It's one of the primary crops here & the fruit sold at roadside stands nearby is ridiculously cheap. Before the mid 1980s I had never even tasted fresh, having grown up on canned in America. Now I grow in my own garden here in Thailand. #winning 🍍🌱🌴πŸͺ΄

Japanese okra, flowers are beautiful though aren’t they? 🌱

Crocuses! Complete with honey bee! In more ominous news, my son reported seeing baby rabbits about. 🌱

🌱I forgot to post this beautiful boy who flew out this morning. Godspeed little one.

The one pepper I successfully rescued from last year’s garden soil still doesn’t know it’s winter 🀫🌱
