Have you attempted his Greek Myths anthology? Plenty of shock and urgency when you realize how much human sacrifice was going on in the prehistoric matriarchy.

👍My favorite city changes depending on which ones my kids are living in! You can find plenty of excuses to visit but I agree it’s nicer with a friend. I love just walking around in the hills and up the staircases.

Thanks! A similar approach works on Apple Maps! At the three dots, you get an option to report an issue.

And many scientific faculty salaries and lab space are based on the amount of indirect grant support they get- so foundation grants with indirects in 10-15% range are deprecated.

This is one of the best- if not the best- TV series ever made. Also recommend the two Robert Graves books it was based on. Those in turn were based on a contemporary history written by the Roman historian Suetonius. The story is almost 2000 years old but it feels VERY relevant now.

I hope you didn’t mean the French Revolution. Also the French resistance was a bit too weak for the current situation.

It’s Trump’s fault, for sure. But why did the trans community emerge as such an effective target? I think that’s what she’s asking. There were plenty of other things the R’s could pin on the D’s. But she’s pointing to some community positions that she thinks may have led to terrible PR.

So basically every R01 proposal involving human subjects b/c NIH requires representation and inclusion of relevant populations when testing therapies. That’s so the research you support with your tax dollars can apply to everyone. Ah well, new OMB director will probably gut NIH anyway.
