I attended an organizing call last night with Vote Palestine (votepalestine.ca) that had over 400 people in attendance committing to collective actions to build lasting people power and make Palestine and Canada's complicity in the genocide a key election issue. It was energizing and hopeful.

Right now, for a lot of Canadians the temptation is to ignore Indigenous people because the threats from the US seem way more important. This turn to fervent and ignorant nationalism is a mistake. Don't alienate the people who know more about your "country" than you do. Find common cause instead.
