When leaving gender dysphoria untreated makes life unlivable regardless, coming out would still be preferable. It would be that or suicide, and as brianna wu transitioned decades ago, she probably knows that better than you.

The two are identically absurd. The democrats could win by simply pointing that out. Instead they allow the right to argue as if their position is based in present reality even though it plainly isn't. Dems won't effectively counter the right because they don't fundamentally disagree with them

No one actually thinks bathrooms are about "identity", but Dems happily bulwark the right's false dichotomy that that's all they can be: either separated by "gender identity" regardless of physical traits, or separated by likely reproductive potential at birth regardless of present physical traits.

The more I've seen, the more I'm convinced the modern LGBTQ movement is guided by elements that are foundationally transphobic; by a fetishism of transsexuals as freaks, by people who see themselves as freaks, who therefore grant themselves the right to speak on transsexuals' behalf.

what, if anything, has the lgbt cultural movement done for transsexuals. for that matter, for gay people? all significant victories have been through the courts and all significant setbacks have leveraged the culture war

Remaining in a linear algebra fueled hallucination to avoid "retreating into a bubble" is very stupid
