Pretty sure you'd get good odds on that. Worth a bet?

Yet they'll say they had a better season than us when one of them wins the Europa League šŸ¤”

I also think the fact PSG have been around the final stages of the CL for a long period of time also showed. City took years to get to win the competition with far more investment than us. Big improvement on our side vs how we went out again Munich last year.

How do you explain the xg then? I can’t think of many chances they had last night. They went 2-0 up with a big deflection.

Difference in my opinion was that Donnarumma makes some amazing saves across both games

Totally agree, think we’ll be a lot different with Partey back in.

Not sure why you would care how someone else chooses to paint their rooms?

Some really entitled players in that team. Seems like their behaviour around the ballon d’or has spilled onto the pitch šŸ˜†

This is probably the most pressing issue that needs sorting before anything else. I mean there are minor details that also need fixing like how will people eat, drink or breath but it is important to register the time and date they all die.

The only way to do this is to add loads of rubbish in to it. Personally I would rather it went stale quicker and didn’t have loads of crap in it.

Anyone’s head would be turned with offer of Saudi money, but ultimately he stayed and then went on to prove he is the best CB in the club / league which I am certain will be reflected in any contract Arsenal offer him. The story drops on the first day of the international break, same old.
comment in response to post
It did and then he stayed and started games again well before the end of August. I have no clue whether he will stay or go but money is all the Saudi league can offer over all of the big leagues in Europe. Also depends if he values his spot in the Brazilian team, he seems to find it important.

It was off the table for Mbappe who had humble beginnings and turned it down even with reassurances it was temporary, wouldn’t consider a move to Saudi. Sadio Mane, didn’t go there till he was + 30 and does lots of good stuff with his money. Ronaldo didn’t join until he was 38. Neymar was 33

Fully accept that the wages are not the same and tax makes a huge difference but £2.7m after tax excluding sponsorships will sort you and your family out for life and leave plenty to pass on. I can imagine him going in the autumn of his career but has no need to do this now.

Do all South Americans offered a contact by a Saudi club accept? No they don’t. If you know full well the mentality of elite athletes how do you not recognise that it is a massive step down in sporting terms and that this is unattractive to many.
comment in response to post
He’s already in a pay structure which bring generational weath and if he want a move could find a club which operates in a decent respected league. You need to understand a bit more about the mentality of top level athletes.
comment in response to post
The international break begins and the bullshit articles start filling your feed. Surely he will get a pay rise and if he didn’t l, could do far better than Al Nassr. Don’t believe he’d consider a move to Saudi at this point in his career.

That fits my definition of your average Trump supporter šŸ˜†

If you’re stupid enough to vote for him then perhaps you would be stupid enough to post that.

Illustrates the effect of buyers spending elsewhere. Objective is to hurt them. Tactics / strategy simple don’t spend money with these companies.

Good choice of beer and a good choice of football club! Impeccable taste all round!

Even one of those would improve us massively šŸ¤žšŸ¼ Personally more worried about Atletico than Real. Real were awful when they played Liverpool and the Classico a few months ago they weren’t great either.

Would like to see this too, but, if he try’s something new in the last 16 of the CL and it doesn’t work he’ll be crucified by the press and a large proportion of the people on social media.

Will take a listen and didn’t mean to be insulting, but spending didn’t just start in 2019. City have spent huge amounts in the years preceding this. Since 2019 we have had a complete rebuild of the squad which isn’t freely spending, it’s structured rebuilding, more needed but done within the rules
comment in response to post
The Hypocrisy of this from a City famšŸ˜† You have just spent more than all the other clubs combined in the January window and couldn’t lay a finger on Liverpool yesterday. Perhaps you don’t remember City’s spending in the past 15 years. Spent quite a lot, so much that the league are talking a look.
comment in response to post
Was that an arguement against the point. You seem to have inadvertantly illustrated exactly the point he was making.
comment in response to post
Very wise! Knew that to win would have required a huge achievement with what has happened and a cock up from the leaders, but still hoped it was possible.

Personally I’m gutted as I think the league is gone this season but I am able to put some context around it. They are not terrible all of a sudden as most in here are making out. To many people getting EA FC 25 conflated with real life.

Wish he’d told LK that she should be using the same word for it. The journalists know what it is. The quest for ā€˜balance’ in BBC reports is leaving the door open for these figures to walk in and be mainstream.
comment in response to post
Too right. Something will happens that give us a glimmer and we start the process again šŸ˜†
comment in response to post
Feel like the league has gone now. I think Liverpool will beat City this afternoon and that gap will be too much. Hope I’m wrong. No angry though, feel too much has happened with injuries, odd ref decisions for Arsenal to overcome. .
comment in response to post
Clearly the objective is to hit companies in the pocket where it will hurt them. We all have a choice where we spend and the companies to which we give our money. Growth is everything to Trump and his type so buying elsewhere will have an effect.
comment in response to post
Yeah, really hoping Sterling would do better. He’s likely to get a few back to back starts so time for him to improve.
