I’m too old to read all the scientific literature she sends. I trust scientists to just break it down for me. Kind of like how Catholics have people to read the Bible for them and break it down. Same thing, just tell me what to get for my house to be outfitted for him!

My daughter has some uber expensive system with the leg thing. She also bought a new vehicle - a Subaru Ascent because Subaru’s have the best safety rating. 🙄 She is crazy with all her research…she has moved onto researching the best “sippy” cups now. 😂 Never allow a scientist to have a baby. 😂

She went back to teaching chemistry to high schoolers on Monday. She’s recovered and is as small as she was before she became pregnant. Size 2ish again. Crazy. Not sure how she did that.

So he was wedged in the birth canal and he needed to be rescued. The doctor said as soon as they opened her up they saw him stuck there looking up at them like “How’d you open that hatch? I been trying to escape for hours!”

My daughter didn’t breeze through labor, she did well. But he was delivered by cesarean section after 23 hours and 43 minutes of labor. He was sunny side up and was trying to come into the world like Superman, but he didn’t get his hand up fast enough so it was stuck against the side of his head.

His name is Gary Wayne after her father and his father. He was born on
1/7/25 at 8:43am. He weighed in at 7#14oz,
20.5” long.
