I do know this! It’s very different to the north. I’ve been there most years over the past decade. Still chaotic though, just less so than other parts of India

It's high in my planning, including for "work trips".

It has been separately reported that the offer was to not forgive the debt, but simply to delay it until 2027. Difficult to see how that makes sense.

A tragedy that those were cancelled too.

Very swimmable. Heated all year round. We're very fortunate. Must cost the rate payers a fortune!

Water temp is fine. I reckon it was around 25 yesterday.

Framing it as progressive vs non-progressive is useful. Labor looks stable, but stuck in the 30s. Seat outcomes will vary, but that level of support is unlikely to keep delivering results at the current scale imo.

Wollongong Continental Baths have been here since the 1920s. I don't love the building attached, but I did love swimming here. /9

Coalcliff, between Sydney and Wollongong was my favourite ocean pool at dusk this year. Tucked out of the way and slightly difficult to access means it's much less busy than it would otherwise be. I love this light. /7

By 1946, the Austinmer Swimming Club called Austinmer Ocean Pool home, and had 146 members. I love the thought of nearly 150 keen swimmers lining the sides of this beautiful ocean pool. I see why NSW built so many at the beginning of the 1900s. I wish they didn't stop. /8

I used to swim at Southport Olympic Pool as a kid when I was a member of the Southport Swimming Club — but back then, it wasn’t two heated 50m pools, a 25m pool, and a teaching pool. It was just one lonely, unheated outdoor 50m pool, which I genuinely thought was freezing at the time.

The Entrance Ocean Baths, on the NSW Central Coast, like so many of NSW's Ocean Pools has a committed bunch of locals who swim all year round. I have swum here when it's pretty cold, but truth be known, those who live in NSW don't really know cold water. /4

That's the one! Although it's now called Gold Coast Aquatic.
